Everything you need to know about Aetherflux.
Aetherflux is a Python simulation, automation, and data analysis IDE that allows you to build models, run scripts, and surface insights - without the need for spreadsheets or macros.
No, but it helps. Aetherflux provides a visual modelling interface that greatly simplifies the code you would traditionally have to write - we have a library of common operations that can be used in our visual editor. Pro includes AI integration, allowing you to mitigate the need for programming almost entirely. For data analysis, we support all Excel operations as well as SQL and Python programming, so you can choose the tools that you are most comfortable with.
Yes. The free plan includes a single project with up to 3 models, limited cloud storage, CSV exports, basic dashboarding, and custom libraries. You can get started immediately; no credit card required.
Paid plans are billed per user, either monthly or annually (with a 10% discount to annual licenses). Usage-based charges for cloud storage are calculated at the end of each billing cycle and invoiced separately.
Absolutely. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from the billing page on your account portal. Changes take effect immediately. In the event that you are downgrading to the free plan and your data storage exceeds the provided limits, you will be prompted to export your datasets using our 'single-click' export system.
We accept all major credit and debit cards through our payment provider. Presently, bank transfers and other means of payment are not supported, but we will look into these as the system grows.
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We follow industry best practices for security and your payment information is handled entirely by our PCI-DSS compliant payment provider. With regards to passkeys used during modelling (i.e. when connecting to an external data source that feeds a computational model), Aetherflux will not persist these secrets - you will be required to input these as needed.
Yes, and it is something that we feel extremely passionate about. If you're an educational institution or a student, please get in touch with us to discuss preferential pricing for your team. We will happily arrange a discussion to best understand how we can help.
Aetherflux is currently only available as a desktop application for Windows and macOS. A web-based version is coming soon. Presently, we have no intention on supporting any Linux distributions, but this may change if users would like this feature realised.
Definitely. Team collaboration is available on the Pro plan. You can invite other users to your projects and work together in real time.
Aetherflux is currently in active development, however, the core modelling functionality is stable and we do not expect to make any breaking changes to the core functionality in the near future. We will be adding new features and improving the user experience as we go, and we will be sure to communicate any changes to you as they happen.
Of course! Feel free to submit these using the contact form on the Aetherflux website. Our team regularly reviews all enquiries. It is our mission to make this software as great as it can possibly be, and your recommendations are pivotal to that vision.
